Forever More is a movement and sound installation developed in collaboration by artists João Cidade and Ferdinand Breil. The work takes form from the physical and emotional relationship both artists have with the space where the installation is taking place. With the idea of marking in mind the two artists set out to challenge the thought of how a performance space and the people that experience a performance can also be marked, if not forever then for as long as possible. Forever More aims to provoke thought around the identity of individuals in relation to performance spaces, while flirting with the idea of an emotional archive in an art scene affected by a pandemic.
